Happy Valentine's Day 

What made my day great...

1. Now where would Valentine's Day be without Flowers?? However, not flowers from Brodee, BUT from the Boden family...that's right they love me!! :)

2 .Also, I got to eat dinner with my mom, dad, Holly, and Brodee at Cattle Country!

3. I also managed to get all sorts of chocolate candies, heart-shaped nick-nacks, and a variety of infamous Valentine's Day cards from all my kids in my class. Pretty much they all said, "You are the best teacher ever!" Made my day!

4. I also have never laughed in front of and with my entire class as much as I did to the point where tears where streaming down my face. The things they say...

5. The annual school Valentine's Day party was a success! The kids loved it, the parents did a fantastic job, and they all left with a sugar overload. Perfect way to end the day  :)

For not liking Valentine's Day, I would say it was a pretty good one!! :)

Happy Birthday Dad!!

 My dad turned 48 years old today and is still going as strong as ever, is what he tells us :) Brodee always tells me, "There is only one Mr. Scott, and he cracks me up. He is such a good guy." And let me tell you, Brodee is completely right...there is only one man like my dad, but we sure do love him!

He is supportive of his children and wife, kind, loving, encouraging, and courageous. 

He keeps to himself, down to earth, and enjoys everyday in his life.

He loves teaching high school History, coaching football, boys basketball, and experiencing the near-to death adventures of teaching drivers ed. 

He loves to tell stories, visit, and make sure you are doing okay.

He loves watching football, basketball, hunting shows, COPS, and 80's music videos.

He loves the Idaho Vandals, going to 'Dad's Weekend' in Moscow with his kids, and taking road trips to Moscow.

 He loves cleans vehicles, his red Toyota truck, and mowing the lawn to perfection.

My mom said, "He is a good person, he is always kind and treats other nicely."

He loves to get a laugh out of my mom, pester her until she cracks a smile, and makes sure she just has a good day with the crazy things he formulates to say to her. :)

Holly said, "He pesters and bugs me all the time, but I know he does it cause he loves me."

Happy Birthday Dad!! We sure do love you!! :)

"It's my birthday!" is what we have been hearing

"It's my birthday and I am 9 years old today!" he told us all day. And guess what...he was right!!!

Today was Adam's aka "Shorty" birthday! He turned 9 years old and I would say he has had a pretty good day. Since the boys basketball tournament is going on, he decided that he wanted to spend his birthday with Brodee and me; he sure is a lucky boy ;) After school we did several things...made dinner, visited Holly and my mom, had Holly and Emmet come over, played the board game Sorry, ate cake and ice-cream, played xbox and watched a movie.

Right before playing Sorry, I told Adam that he needed to go and get the Sorry game. He told me, "But I can't reach it." So I headed downstairs with him to get the game off the shelf. Little to my knowledge that Adam indeed could reach the game this time. After I teased him he proceeded to tell me that, "Since it's my birthday and I am 9, I guess I am getting taller too!" Haha I laughed, but I sure do love this boy!!
