It's been a year! Happy Anniversary!

My alarm rang at 5:00am as I sluggishly crawled out of bed to get ready to go. Michelle did my hair, mom gathered my dress and put in the car and we were off. With dad driving, mom in the passenger seat, Holly, Michelle and me in the back seat we were loaded up as we ventured with anticipation to the Twin Falls Temple.

There I stood with my mom in the Bride's room anxious to see how the day would pan out. I carefully put my temple clothes on and left the comfort of my mom. As I walked into the room, there he was sitting in a chair as nervous as ever. His leg was twitching uncontrollably and it began to make my stomach fill with butterflies. Thoughts of the unknow filtered into my mind...after the longest thirty minutes of my life, Brodee and I walked hand-in-hand down the hall to the sealing room. As we walked in friends and family filled the room. This was real! I was finally getting married! With a smile on my face and moments later, I had done it...I had married my best friend! :)

One year ago, that day was as real as it could be. Last year, I married the most amazing man and what a year it has been.  For our anniversary, we took a little get-away vacation for the weekend...we ventured out of Malta (which Brodee doesn't like doing) ha and went to Salt Lake/Ogden area. We went to the zoo, out to dinnerat the Joseph Smith Building, shopped at Tai Pan, and enjoyed the luxeries of our hotel. It was pretty fun. It was a nice break, but it was good to be getting back.. We EVEN enjoyed our wedding cake top. :)

The highlights of our year as a married couple...
- bought a house last August
- bought a Dodge Truck
- started a farm : goat and 11 chickens
- lived with both of our parents back and forth until we finally settled where we are now
- went to movies
- attended the temple
- had friends and family visit frequently
- visited friends all over Idaho and Utah
- aruged over silly things...such as Toyota vs. Dodge or how something should be done
- been busy with both of our jobs
- attended Holly's graduation
- went fishing
- hiked to Independence Lakes
- Moved "the castle" from Malta to Elba (suppose to be our fiirst home)
